I Like Cooking For My Husband -- I Hope I'm Not Too Old-fashioned

 I really like cooking for my husband -- and myself too. I made a tender roast with onions, potatoes and carrots yesterday that we will eat later today. I is super tender and has a strongly nice flavor. I garlic in it and a bay leaf.
